He was hypnotized to believe that he was the cartoon character RoadRunner. He ran around yelling Beep-beep and put on a great show! He later told us that he didn't remember the show. c. 1998 - Jim Calder recalls, "Tony Christopher in his backyard. Tony had convinced my gullible wife that they had installed a swimming pool in their backyard. When we arrived, there was Tony sitting in his chair with his feet in the `pool`. [Submitted by Jim Calder] Tony Christoper and Christopher (Chris) Toney - They met while both stationed on Medina Annex with the 6948th. Because their last names were so similar, Tony kept getting Chris' mail. In a narrow hallway, Big Tony encountered Chris and recognized the last name. In his big voice, he looked down at Chris and said "YOU! You're the one!". To which Chris quickly replied, "I didn't know she was your wife!". After a good laugh, they introduced themselves and remained great friends until Tony's passing.
